Hello there, My name is K’shaun. Born and raised in the inner city streets of Grants Pen, Kingston, Jamaica. Growing up on the streets of Kingston I did not really appreciate the beauty of the island. Kingstonians  tend to neglect the rest of the island until we are ready to go to the beach or the river and I definitely fell in that category. At 16 I migrated to the US and  after a couple weeks I was instantly homesick, that was the point I started to appreciate  the land of my birth.

I created the Land of Wood N Wata as a online resource for persons looking to visit and explore  the island. My goal is to educate and inform the world about Jamaica and what island has to offer. Many of you already know the island as the home of Bob Marley, Jerk chicken and Marijuana but I want to get more in depth and give our readers a more well rounded and in depth view of the island.
